Ohio High School Basketball - Southeastern Local bested by West Liberty-Salem
January 7, 2025: South Charleston, OH 45368 West Liberty-Salem Tigers (West Liberty, OH) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Southeastern Local Trojans (South Charleston, OH), 59-39 in a league match.
With the victory, West Liberty-Salem advances its record to 6-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH) to meet the Panthers in a Ohio Heritage match on Friday, January 10. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 10-1. Fairbanks won 64-17 in their recent league match against Triad (North Lewisburg, OH)
The Trojans now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison Plains for a Ohio Heritage match on Thursday, January 9. Southeastern Local will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 56-48 league loss to Cedarville (Cedarville, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-7.
