January 7, 2025: Garretson, SD 57030 The St. Mary Cardinals basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Garretson Blue Dragons to 27 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Estelline/Hendricks for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. St. Mary will confront a team coming off a 60-29 non-league loss to Canton (Canton, SD). The record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Garretson falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Blue dragons travel to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD) to confront the Titans in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Titans go into the game with a record of 4-2. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton won 44-39 in their recent non-league game against Tri-Valley (Colton, SD)
