Montana High School Basketball - Bigfork overwhelms Powell County
January 8, 2022: Bigfork, MT 59911 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries (Bigfork, MT) and the visiting Powell County Wardens (Deer Lodge, MT), saw Bigfork's basketball squad wallop Powell County by a tally of 65-38.
With the victory, Bigfork improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Vikings & Valkyries travel to Lincoln County (Eureka, MT) to confront the Lions in a B District 7 challenge on Thursday, January 20. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 3-4.
Next up, the Wardens confront the Jefferson Panthers (Boulder, MT) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 13. Powell County will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 44-30 league win over Sweet Grass County (Big Timber, MT).
