Illinois High School Basketball - Evanston crushes Taft
January 8, 2022: Evanston, IL 60201 Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 70-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Evanston upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Wildkits host Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL) to play the Titans in a Central Suburban - South bout on Friday, January 14. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 14-1. Glenbrook South won 60-59 in their recent league bout against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL)
Next up, the Eagles play the Von Steuben Panthers (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public - White North bout, on Wednesday, January 12. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record.
