January 8, 2024: Philadelphia, PA 19154 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Archbishop Wood Vikings (Warminster, PA) and the host Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls (Philadelphia, PA), saw Archbishop Wood's basketball squad hold off Archbishop Ryan by a tally of 72-71.
With the victory, Archbishop Wood improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia, PA) to confront the Saints in a Philadelphia Catholic challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 11-0. Neumann-Goretti won 71-34 in their recent league challenge against Lansdale Catholic (Lansdale, PA)
Next up, the Raiders and Ragdolls confront the Devon Prep Tide (Devon, PA) in a Philadelphia Catholic challenge, on Friday, January 12. Archbishop Ryan will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Tide come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 74-70 league win over La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA).
