Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Clearfield tops Philipsburg-Osceola
January 8, 2024: Clearfield, PA 16830 Clearfield Bison (Clearfield, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA), 71-63 in a league bout.
With the victory, Clearfield upgrades its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA) to play the Blue Devils in a Laurel Highlands bout on Thursday, January 11. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Bellwood-Antis lost 58-48 in their recent league bout against Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA)
Next up, the Mountaineers play the Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA) in a Laurel Highlands bout, on Thursday, January 11. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 44-37 league win over Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA).
