In Friday's non-league outing, the West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA), by a margin of 81-60.

The Warriors (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Tussey Mountain (Saxton, PA). The Titans go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Tussey Mountain smashed Mount Union (Mount Union, PA), 65-36, in a league outing.

The Mountaineers now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hollidaysburg for a Laurel Highlands outing on Monday, December 18. Philipsburg-Osceola will clash with a Golden Tigers squad coming off a 57-51 non-league win over Williamsport (Williamsport, PA). The Golden Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
