Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Branch crushes Moshannon Valley

February 9, 2024: Morrisdale, PA 16858

West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA), 74-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Branch upgrades its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to McConnellsburg (McConnellsburg, PA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 19-2.

Next up, the Black Knights/Damsels play the Cambria Heights Highlanders (Patton, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Moshannon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-17 season record. The Highlanders come into the bout with a 3-17 record after their 66-37 league loss to Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA).
