January 8, 2024: Spencer, MA 01562 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Prouty Panthers (Spencer, MA) and the visiting Quaboag Regional Cougars (Warren, MA), saw Prouty's basketball squad overcome Quaboag Regional by a tally of 58-44.
With the victory, Prouty improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bartlett (Webster, MA) to confront the Indians in a South Worcester County - B challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Bartlett lost 74-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Oxford (Oxford, MA)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Southbridge Pioneers (Southbridge, MA) in a South Worcester County - B challenge, on Friday, January 12. Quaboag Regional will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 51-25 non-league win over Abby Kelley Foster (Worcester, MA).
