The Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) basketball knocked off the host Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL), 51-36 in Monday's league test.

The Vikings (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Hornets go into the Heart Of Illinois test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Eureka notched a victory over LeRoy (LeRoy, IL), 53-37, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Flanagan/Woodland for a Heart Of Illinois test on Thursday, January 11. Ridgeview will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 67-51 league loss to Tremont (Tremont, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 4-12.
