California High School Basketball - JW North nips King
January 8, 2025: Riverside, CA 92507 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the JW North Huskies (Riverside, CA) and the visiting King Wolves (Riverside, CA), observed JW North's basketball team edge King by a score of 49-46.
The Huskies (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Orange Vista (Perris, CA). The Coyotes come into the Sunbelt challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Orange Vista edged Canyon Springs (Moreno Valley, CA), 67-44, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolves battle the Roosevelt Mustangs (Eastvale, CA) in a Big VIII challenge, on Thursday, January 9. King will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 19-1 record after their 86-65 non-league win over Francis Parker (San Diego, CA).
