In Wednesday's league contest, the host Penns Valley Area Rams basketball team scored a big 58-30 win over the Bald Eagle Area Eagles.

The Rams (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA). The Mountaineers come into the Laurel Highlands contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Philipsburg-Osceola was trounced by Clearfield (Clearfield, PA), 50-21, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Bellefonte Raiders (Bellefonte, PA) in a Laurel Highlands contest, on Monday, January 13. Bald Eagle Area will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Raiders come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 49-24 league loss to Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA).
