With the victory, Port Barre advances its record to 6-8 on the year. The Red Devils host Centerville (Centerville, LA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, January 13. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 2-6.
The Bears now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Louisiana School for the Deaf for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14.
