California High School Basketball - Acalanes overwhelms Ygnacio Valley
January 8, 2025: Concord, CA 94518 The Acalanes Dons basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Ygnacio Valley Wolves to 12 in the Dons league triumph on Wednesday.
The Dons now have a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Berean Christian for a game on Friday, January 10. Acalanes will confront a Eagles team coming off a 47-43 non-league loss to Swett (Crockett, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Ygnacio Valley falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA) to confront the Knights in a game on Friday, January 10. The Knights go into the game with a record of 7-8. Las Lomas won 44-26 in their recent league game against Alhambra (Martinez, CA)
