Washington High School Basketball - Mt. Baker holds off Blaine
January 8, 2025: Deming, WA 98244 The Mt. Baker Mountaineers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Blaine Borderites to 44 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Mountaineers now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Squalicum for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Mt. Baker will confront a Storm team coming off a 56-35 non-league win over Cedarcrest (Duvall, WA). The Storm record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Blaine falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Borderites travel to Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA) to confront the Lyncs in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Lyncs go into the game with a record of 8-1. Lynden Christian won 52-41 in their recent non-league game against Meridian (Bellingham, WA)
