Connecticut High School Basketball - Rockville overwhelms Metropolitan Learning Center
January 9, 2023: Bloomfield, CT 06002 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Rockville Rams (Vernon, CT) and the host Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons (Bloomfield, CT), saw Rockville's basketball squad wallop Metropolitan Learning Center by a tally of 63-38.
With the victory, Rockville improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Canton (Canton, CT) to play the Warriors in a North Central Connecticut challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Canton won 52-41 in their recent league challenge against Somers (Somers, CT)
Next up, the Dragons play the Achievement First (Hartford, CT) in a Capitol Region challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Metropolitan Learning Center will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 89-40 non-league loss to Middletown (Middletown, CT).
