Kentucky High School Basketball - Frankfort tops Bullitt Central
January 9, 2023: Frankfort, KY 40601 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Frankfort Panthers (Frankfort, KY) and the visiting Bullitt Central Cougars (Shepherdsville, KY), saw Frankfort's basketball squad knock off Bullitt Central by a count of 58-47.
With the victory, Frankfort upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Western Hills (Frankfort, KY) to play the Wolverines in a District 41 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Western Hills won 52-44 in their recent league challenge against Franklin County (Frankfort, KY)
Next up, the Cougars play the John Hardin Bulldogs (Elizabethtown, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Bullitt Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 80-38 non-league loss to Ohio County (Hartford, KY).
