Kentucky High School Basketball - Nicholas County topples Bullitt Central
December 28, 2022: Shepherdsville, KY 40165 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) basketball squad beat the host Bullitt Central Cougars (Shepherdsville, KY), by a count of 64-55.
The Bluejackets (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Patrick (Maysville, KY). The Saints go into the non-league outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, St. Patrick was topped by Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington (Ripley, OH), 67-17, in a non-league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Evangel Christian for a District 23 outing on Monday, January 2. Bullitt Central will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 70-38 non-league win over Caverna (Horse Cave, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.
