Kentucky High School Basketball - Nicholas County can't hold off Nelson County
December 21, 2022: Bardstown, KY 40004 The Nicholas County Bluejackets basketball team (Carlisle, KY), was nudged 63-60 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY)
The Cardinals now possess a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbia for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 27. Nelson County will battle a Eagles team coming off a 61-47 league win over Roxana (Roxana, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 9-2.
The Bluejackets (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Bullitt Central was nudged by Adair County (Columbia, KY), 78-67, in a non-league battle.
