Gloucester City Lions (Gloucester City, NJ) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Haddon Township Hawks (Westmont, NJ), 73-63 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Gloucester City upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Haddonfield (Haddonfield, NJ) to confront the Bulldawgs in a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 11. The Bulldawgs come into the battle with a record of 5-4. Haddonfield lost 45-37 in their recent non-league battle against Hammonton (Hammonton, NJ)

The Hawks (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Gateway Regional (Woodbury Heights, NJ). The Gators come into the Colonial - Patriot battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Gateway Regional beat Salem County Vo-Tech (Woodstown, NJ), 54-48, in a non-league battle.
