Alabama High School Basketball - Huffman can't hold off Paul W. Bryant
January 9, 2023: Cottondale, AL 35453 The Paul W. Bryant Stampede basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Huffman Vikings to 51 in the Stampede non-league triumph on Monday.
The Stampede now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sipsey Valley for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. Paul W. Bryant will play a Bears squad coming off a 49-43 non-league loss to Demopolis (Demopolis, AL). The Bears record now stands at 2-6.
Next up, the Vikings play the Center Point Eagles (Birmingham, AL) in a 6A Area 11 bout, on Friday, January 13. Huffman will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 63-36 league loss to Gardendale (Gardendale, AL).
