Florida High School Basketball - Miami Beach nips Schoolhouse Prep
January 9, 2023: Miami Beach, FL 33139 Miami Beach Hi-Tides (Miami Beach, FL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Schoolhouse Prep Wolfpack (Miami, FL), 53-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Miami Beach upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Hi-Tides host Dr. Krop (Miami, FL) to play the Lightning in a 6A District 16 bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Lightning come into the bout with a record of 3-10. Dr. Krop lost 68-50 in their recent non-league bout against Booker T. Washington (Miami, FL)
Next up, the Wolfpack play the Oldsmar Christian Eagles (Oldsmar, FL) in a Sunshine Independent bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Schoolhouse Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 46-44 non-league win over Creekside Christian Academy (McDonough, GA).
