The Comets now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mackinac Island for a non-league battle on Monday, January 9. North Michigan Christian Academy will battle a Lakers team coming off a 46-43 league loss to Munising Baptist (Wetmore, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 1-3.
The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI). The Chiefs come into the Straits Area battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Cheboygan was routed by Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI), 60-33, in a league battle.
