January 9, 2023: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) and the visiting Wheaton Knights (Silver Spring, MD), saw Sherwood's basketball squad wallop Wheaton by a tally of 71-31.
With the victory, Sherwood improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host Northwood (Silver Spring, MD) to confront the Gladiators in a Montgomery County - 4A East challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Northwood lost 72-34 in their recent league challenge against Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD)
Next up, the Knights confront the Blake Bengals (Silver Spring, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Wheaton will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Bengals come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 56-43 league loss to Einstein (Kensington, MD).
