January 20, 2023: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) and the visiting Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD), saw Sherwood's basketball squad overcome Magruder by a tally of 43-26.
With the victory, Sherwood improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Poolesville (Poolesville, MD) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Poolesville lost 45-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Whitman (Bethesda, MD)
Next up, the Colonels confront the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Magruder will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
