Arizona High School Basketball - Yuma knocked off by Gila Ridge
January 9, 2023: Yuma, AZ 85365 The Gila Ridge Hawks basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Yuma Criminals to 42 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Monday.
The Hawks now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alhambra for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Gila Ridge will meet a Lions team coming off a 28-24 non-league loss to Skyline (Mesa, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
The Criminals (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kofa (Yuma, AZ). The Kings enter the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Kofa ran past Glendale (Glendale, AZ), 59-33, in a league contest.
