January 9, 2024: St. Peter, MN 56082 The St. Peter Saints basketball team (St. Peter, MN), was overwhelmed 94-71 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Mankato West Scarlets (Mankato, MN)
The Scarlets now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mankato East for a AAA Section 2 battle on Thursday, January 11. Mankato West will confront a Cougars team coming off a 87-48 non-league win over Mayo (Rochester, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 11-1.
The Saints (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Marshall (Marshall, MN). The Tigers come into the AAA Section 2 battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Marshall was overwhelmed by Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN), 87-80, in a non-league battle.
