January 9, 2024: Cambridge, MN 55008 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets (Cambridge, MN) and the visiting North Branch Vikings (North Branch, MN), saw Cambridge-Isanti's basketball squad hold off North Branch by a tally of 66-60.
With the victory, Cambridge-Isanti improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Bluejackets travel to Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN) to play the Wildcats in a AAA Section 7 challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-9.
Next up, the Vikings play the Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. North Branch will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 103-52 league loss to Becker (Becker, MN).
