Colorado High School Basketball - Colorado Academy crushes Stargate School
January 9, 2024: Thornton, CO 80023 Colorado Academy Mustangs (Denver, CO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Stargate School Eagles (Thornton, CO), 62-4 in a league bout.
With the victory, Colorado Academy upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Forge Christian (Arvada, CO) to face the Fury in a 4A/3A Metropolitan game on Friday, January 12. The Fury enter the game with a record of 4-4. Forge Christian won 47-26 in their recent non-league game against Addenbrooke Classical Academy (Lakewood, CO)
With the defeat, Stargate School moves to 2-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Jefferson Academy (Broomfield, CO) to face the Jaguars in a 4A/3A Metropolitan game on Saturday, January 13. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 7-2. Jefferson Academy won 52-21 in their recent league game against The Academy (Westminster, CO)
