Michigan High School Basketball - Jefferson crushes Taylor
January 9, 2024: Taylor, MI 48180 Jefferson Bears (Monroe, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI), 47-21 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Jefferson upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI) to play the Red Devils in a Huron bout on Thursday, January 11. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Grosse Ile lost 45-43 in their recent league bout against Riverview (Riverview, MI)
Next up, the Griffins play the Lincoln Park Railsplitters (Lincoln Park, MI) in a Downriver bout, on Thursday, January 11. Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Railsplitters come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 34-17 non-league loss to Detroit Cristo Rey (Detroit, MI).
