Michigan High School Basketball - Taylor nips Anderson
January 18, 2024: Southgate, MI 48195 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI) and the host Anderson Titans (Southgate, MI), saw Taylor's basketball squad hold off Anderson by a tally of 37-32.
With the victory, Taylor improves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Inter-City Baptist (Allen Park, MI) to play the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Inter-City Baptist lost 48-33 in their recent league challenge against Plymouth Christian Academy (Canton, MI)
Next up, the Titans play the Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI) in a Downriver challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Anderson will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Marauders come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 40-31 league win over Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI).
