The Lakers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waynflete for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 11. Lake Region will battle a Flyers team coming off a 45-42 non-league loss to North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME). The Flyers record now stands at 5-1.
The Phoenix (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cony (Augusta, ME). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Cony prevailed over Nokomis (Newport, ME), 68-47, in a league battle.
