The Taft Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Sheridan Spartans to 45 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amity for a 3A PacWest contest on Thursday, January 11. Taft will battle a Warriors team coming off a 62-26 league win over Dayton (Dayton, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 11-2.
