Virginia High School Basketball - Blue Ridge routs Miller School of Albemarle

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Blue Ridge Barons basketball team scored a big 65-41 win over the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks.

The Barons (17-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Cross (Roanoke, VA). The Raiders come into the VISAA Division II contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, North Cross smashed Carlisle (Axton, VA), 93-51, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Mavericks battle the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) in a non-league contest, on Sunday, January 12. Miller School of Albemarle will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 9-5 record after their 56-54 non-league win over Georgetown Prep (North Bethesda, MD).
