Ohio High School Basketball - Meigs overwhelms Eastern
January 9, 2025: Reedsville, OH 45772 The Meigs Marauders basketball team scored 97 points and limited the host Eastern Eagles to 53 in the Marauders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Marauders now possess a 10-0 record. They play next when they host Westfall for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Meigs will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 49-41 league loss to Adena (Frankfort, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Eastern falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Caldwell (Caldwell, OH) to confront the Redskins in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Redskins go into the game with a record of 9-0. Caldwell won 74-29 in their recent league game against Shadyside (Shadyside, OH)
