January 9, 2025: La Crescent, MN 55947 La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs (Elgin, MN), 72-57 in a non-league match.
With the victory, La Crescent advances its record to 6-6 on the year. The Lancers travel to Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 12-3. Zumbrota-Mazeppa won 60-53 in their recent non-league match against Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN)
The Bulldogs now own a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake City for a AA Section 1 match on Saturday, January 11. Plainview-Elgin-Millville will face a Tigers squad coming off a 50-44 league win over Lourdes (Rochester, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 8-1.
