January 9, 2025: Woodstock, IL 60098 The Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) basketball were winner over the host Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes (Woodstock, IL), 66-52 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Dixon for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Sycamore will play a Dukes & Duchesses team coming off a 65-47 non-league win over Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Dukes & Duchesses record now stands at 14-4.
With the loss, Marian Central Catholic falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL) to play the Skyhawks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. The Skyhawks go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Johnsburg lost 72-65 in their recent non-league bout against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL)
