In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Middlesex Chargers basketball team scored a good 66-49 win over the West Point Pointers.

The Chargers (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA). The Navigators come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Hampton Roads Academy defeated Isle of Wight Academy (Isle of Wight, VA), 60-32, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pointers battle the King William Cavaliers (King William, VA) in a Tidewater contest, on Monday, January 13. West Point will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Cavaliers enter the battle with a 1-8 record after their 75-46 non-league loss to Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA).
