With the win, Mathews improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Carver College and Career Academy (Chester, VA) to battle the Wolverines in a Tidewater challenge on Tuesday, January 7. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Carver College and Career Academy lost 92-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Petersburg (Petersburg, VA)
In their next game, the Chargers battle the Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Middlesex will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Ponies come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 76-42 non-league loss to Parkside (Salisbury, MD).
