The Lancaster Red Devils basketball team scored 88 points and limited the host Mathews Blue Devils to 72 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Monday.

The Red Devils now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Rappahannock for a Northern Neck game on Tuesday, January 14. Lancaster will confront a Raiders team coming off a 73-48 league loss to Westmoreland (Montross, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Mathews falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA) to confront the Royal Tigers in a Tidewater game on Tuesday, January 14. The Royal Tigers go into the game with a record of 5-4. King & Queen Central lost 49-41 in their recent non-league game against Essex (Tappahannock, VA)
