The Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA) basketball crushed the visiting King & Queen Central Royal Tigers (King & Queen Court House, VA), 86-48 in Thursday's league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 14-7 record. They play next when they travel to Northampton for a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. Mathews will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 80-31 league win over Nandua (Onley, VA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-10.
