Chiefland Indians (Chiefland, FL) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Dixie County Bears (Cross City, FL), 74-48 in a non-league contest.
The Indians (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dunnellon (Dunnellon, FL). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Dunnellon was trounced by Trinity Catholic (Ocala, FL), 63-39, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bears confront the Bronson Eagles (Bronson, FL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 12. Dixie County will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record.
