Sutter Huskies (Sutter, CA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA), 4-3 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sutter moves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Huskies travel to Las Plumas (Oroville, CA) to battle the Thunderbirds in a Butte View bout on Thursday, January 12. The Thunderbirds enter the bout with a record of 3-2. Las Plumas won 5-1 in their recent non-league bout against Lassen (Susanville, CA)

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA) in a Butte View bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Gridley will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 1-1 league Sutter (Sutter, CA).

Gridley is a very well coached and very disciplined team. It was a very even game and ended with a 4-3 result in favor of Sutter.
