The Parkland Matadors basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Clint Lions to 39 in the Matadors non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Matadors now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hanks for a 5A Region I District 2 contest on Tuesday, January 17.

The Lions (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside (El Paso, TX). The Rangers come into the 4A Region I District 2 contest with a 6-11 record.
