Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bel Air Highlanders (El Paso, TX), 55-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Parkland upgrades its record to 21-7 on the season. The Matadors host Hanks (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Knights in a 5A Region I District 2 bout on Friday, February 3. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 20-8. Hanks lost 43-35 in their recent league bout against Del Valle (El Paso, TX)
