January 10, 2023: Manchester, CT 06042 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the East Catholic Eagles (Manchester, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Farmington River Hawks (Farmington, CT), by a count of 71-43.
The Eagles (8-0) will now prepare for their outing against East Hartford (East Hartford, CT). The Hornets go into the Central Connecticut - East Colonial outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, East Hartford smashed New Britain (New Britain, CT), 59-57, in a non-league outing.
The River Hawks now hold a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southington for a Central Connecticut - West Colonial match on Thursday, January 12. Farmington will face a Blue Knights team coming off a 57-26 league loss to Conard (West Hartford, CT). The Blue Knights record now stands at 5-2.
