Connecticut High School Basketball - East Catholic crushes Middletown
December 15, 2022: Manchester, CT 06042 East Catholic Eagles (Manchester, CT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT), 98-61 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, East Catholic upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Avon (Avon, CT) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Avon lost 81-69 in their recent non-league bout against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, CT)
Next up, the Blue Dragons play the Newington Nor'easters (Newington, CT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Middletown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Nor'easters come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 54-44 non-league win over Berlin (Berlin, CT).
