Georgia High School Basketball - Oconee County tops Hebron Christian Academy
January 10, 2023: Watkinsville, GA 30677 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) and the visiting Hebron Christian Academy Lions (Dacula, GA), saw Oconee County's basketball squad knock off Hebron Christian Academy by a count of 48-33.
With the victory, Oconee County upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Stephens County (Toccoa, GA) to play the Indians in a AAA Region 8 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Stephens County won 56-42 in their recent league challenge against Franklin County (Carnesville, GA)
Next up, the Lions play the Hart County Bulldogs (Hartwell, GA) in a AAA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Hebron Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 69-44 league loss to Monroe Area (Monroe, GA).
