The McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA), 48-45 in Tuesday's league test.

The Buccaneers (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Savannah Classical Academy (Savannah, GA). The Spartans go into the A D2 Region 3 test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Savannah Classical Academy was tipped by Portal (Portal, GA), 84-34, in a league test.

The War Eagles now own a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Emanuel County Institute for a A D2 Region 3 test on Friday, January 13.
