Georgia High School Basketball - Jenkins County trounces Emanuel County Institute

The Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA), 67-17 in Friday's league test.

The War Eagles (19-4) will now prepare for their test against Savannah Classical Academy (Savannah, GA). The Spartans go into the A D2 Region 3 test with a 4-14 record. In their last test, Savannah Classical Academy was trounced by Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA), 67-58, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-20 record. They play next when they host McIntosh County Academy for a A D2 Region 3 test on Saturday, February 4. Emanuel County Institute will encounter a Buccaneers squad coming off a 66-44 league loss to Portal (Portal, GA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 9-13.
